Personal data protection

The following information concerns the protection of your personal data. These are data that allow you to be identified either directly or indirectly: your forename, family name, email address and IP address.

If you are the owner of one or more equidae, under the law they must be registered in the Belgian database of equidae, managed by the non-profit organisation Confédération belge du cheval ASBL (UE 2015/262).

The Confédération belge du cheval (CBC) guarantees the security (integrity and confidentiality) of your personal data. Data security includes protection against unauthorised access, illegal use, loss and unauthorised modification.

We use security techniques and procedures which are not described here for reasons of security.

Appropriate physical, technical and organisational measures are taken to ensure a level of security proportional to the risks.

6. RIGHT OF CONSULTATION, RECTIFICATION, OBJECTION AND DELETION

6.1. HorseID

You can modify your personal data via the application. Your request for modification will be reviewed and processed within 24 hours. It is also possible to send your modification requests by email to info@horseid.be.

6.2. Data Protection Officer (DPO)

In accordance with the GDPR, contact the Data Protection Officer (DPO) to exercise your right of consultation.

Your request will be processed within 30 calendar days. If it is complex or if our services are faced with a large number of requests, this period will be extended to 60 days.
